We are delighted to announce the inaugural “Fingal Sports Club Volunteer Awards”, a celebration to honour the remarkable contributions of volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to providing sports and physical activity opportunities across Fingal.
The Fingal Sports Office will host this prestigious gala event on Monday, 27th January 2025, at the Carlton Hotel, Tyrrelstown, Dublin 15.
Across Ireland, an estimated 450,000 individuals volunteer in sports clubs every week, selflessly supporting their communities and seeking no reward. This event is our opportunity to recognise and celebrate these unsung heroes.
Mayor of Fingal, Cllr Brian McDonagh, remarked:

Nomination Details
Each sports club in Fingal is invited to nominate a volunteer who demonstrates exceptional dedication, teamwork, and a positive impact on their club and community.
An independent jury panel will review all nominations and select those they feel are most deserving of the Sports Volunteer of the Year award.
